Call for Papers
This special issue is focused on the issues related to the Distributed Control Systems from the perspective of potential applications, emerging hardware and software technologies, and communication requirements. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
• Robust sensing and control
• Failure resilience and fault isolation strategies
• Prototypes, test-beds, field trials, and simulation platforms
• Intelligent sensor technologies
• Resource management and energy efficient design for intelligent sensors
• Distributed sensor fusion and estimation
• Wireless and wired communication technologies for distributed control systems
• Radio access technologies and protocols, channel and traffic models
• Energy efficient and intelligent internetworking protocols
• Cryptography, security and privacy of wireless communication technologies
• Performance management, optimization, and testing
• Quality of Service (QoS) provisions
