The Ivory Server: Academia and the Digital, a workshop

Digital technologies have increased exponentially pedagogical tools, academic resources, and potential for collaborations for students and scholars; the widening field of digital scholarship seems to present as many challenges as it does opportunities. This workshop aims to bring together scholars and practitioners share ideas, strategies, histories, and theories that may shape higher education in the years to come. Participants will distribute their work three weeks in advance of the conference, to focus on discussion and synthesis at the workshop.

Potential topics may include:
Archival studies
Politics and economics of accessibility
Digital pedagogy
Collaboration and interdisciplinarity
Authorship and plagiarism
Online courses
Multiplatform education
Personalized education
For-profit/non-profit institutions
The future of the educator
