Dear Colleagues,

We have the pleasure to invite you to submit papers for our new issue of HyperCultura http://litere.hyperion.ro/hypercultura/, nr 8/2019. We invite articles on literature (print and hypertext) (not classic literature), media studies (radio, television), film studies, visual and performative arts, teaching (languages, literature, rhetoric). Subject areas such as postcolonialism, gender studies, etc, are welcome if they have the aforementioned areas as their case studies. Our journal does not have a specif theme anymore. We encourage a comparative approach, though we do not impose it.

We also receive a limited number of book reviews, of titles published no earlier than 3 years prior to the publication of our volume.

HyperCultura is also looking for reviewers for the above mentioned areas. If interested, please email us you CV (and a sample of your own writing).

Submission deadline – for articles and book reviews: October 1st, 2019

Submitting abstracts before the final articles is optional.

Articles must not go beyond 8,000 words. They should not be under 3500. They must be in English (USA) and use MLA, 8th edition. Abstract: 150-200 words. Articles must be analytic, original, not already published, not under submission at any other publication.

We hope to give you an acceptance/rejection answer in three months from the day we receive your article. The volume is due March-April, 2020.

Publication fee: no fee.

HyperCultura is currently indexed in CEEOL, the MLA Directory of Periodicals, Ulrichsweb, and DOAJ.
