The Boss Baby Symposium welcomes virtual presentations that engage in interdisciplinary analysis, interpretation, and critique of the original Boss Baby movie (starring Alec Baldwin). We seek to inspire multifaceted discussion of Boss Baby from a number of viewpoints, emphasizing the many fascinating and diverse intersections between Boss Baby and issues of personal interest.

Topics may include, but are not limited to:

Art & affectivity
Theories and commentary
Issues of aging and child development

Presentations should fall between ten and fifteen minutes in length. The presenter should be prepared to engage in a panel-style discussion of the material following their presentation.

Please submit the following two documents for blind review:

  1. An abstract of no more than 250 words
  2. A cover letter stating your name, the title of your presentation, institutional affiliation, and email address.

Abstracts and additional inquiries should be sent to thebossbaby2021@aol.com. Abstracts are due by Friday, November 26th, 2021.
