As teacher-scholars in French and Francophone Studies, we play a pivotal role in shaping students’ linguistic and cultural proficiencies to support their broader personal and professional ambitions. As technologies and pedagogies evolve, we strive to cultivate curricular best practices and meaningful learning experiences that not only recruit and retain students but also prepare them to be culturally competent and productive global citizens through their engagement with the diverse complexities of the Francophone world. Given the conference’s theme of resilience, this roundtable aims to explore how academics in the field of French and Francophone Studies adapt their pedagogical modes and materials to better appeal to an increasingly diverse and digitally native student body with a range of professional goals. We, therefore, invite contributions that focus on teaching strategies, pedagogical innovations, practical tools, and resources that render students’ engagement with French and Francophone Studies informative and inspiring.
