The 10th edition of Cities’ Identity Through Architecture and Arts (CITAA) convenes at the Polytechnic University of Turin (Politecnico di Torino), Italy, marking a milestone in the conference’s journey. Building on previous editions, including the one held between Aswan and Luxor, CITAA continues to explore how architecture and the arts express cultural values, collective memory, and urban identity across diverse contexts.

Turin, with its layered urban history, architectural heritage, and spirit of innovation, serves as a living laboratory where historical fabrics intersect with contemporary design, industrial heritage, and urban regeneration. The Polytechnic University of Turin provides an intellectually stimulating environment that strengthens the conference’s academic depth and interdisciplinary focus.

CITAA 10 examines how architecture and the arts shape and sustain urban identities while reflecting on how cities respond to social, cultural, environmental, and technological change. The conference offers a platform to consider the transformative role of architecture and the arts in creating vibrant, resilient, and meaningful urban environments.
