Curatone Art & Research Journal (ISSN 3054-6621) invites submissions for its upcoming issue.

We are a peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing research articles, visual essays, and expert interviews on contemporary visual art, design, and curatorial practice. The journal is registered with the German National Library (Deutsche Nationalbibliothek), indexed in the German Union Catalogue of Serials (ZDB) and OpenAIRE, and each article receives a permanent DOI via Zenodo (CERN).

We welcome contributions from artists, researchers, curators, designers, and art educators worldwide. Topics include, but are not limited to:

Contemporary art practice and theory
Visual culture and design research
Curatorial studies and exhibition practice
Art education and pedagogy
Digital art, new media, and AI in creative practice
Cross-cultural and interdisciplinary perspectives in the visual arts

Submission types:
Research articles (2,000–5,000 words, with references)
Visual essays (800–2,000 words + images of original work)
Exhibition reviews (1,000–2,000 words)
All submissions undergo editorial peer review by our international Editorial Board. Published authors receive an official Letter of Publication with ISSN and DOI references, suitable for academic and professional portfolios.

There is no submission fee.
