Article Collection: Entrepreneurship and Small Business in the Storm of Digital Intelligence Technologies: Balancing between Promises and Risks

Rapid advances in intelligent technologies (e.g. generative AI, predictive AI, big data, IoT, blockchain) and new frontiers like quantum computation are reshaping how entrepreneurs and SMEs search for information, generate ideas, make judgments under uncertainty, plan, and build resilience. Not all firms benefit equally: cognitive barriers (distrust, perceived risk, limited knowledge) and real downsides (e.g. overconfidence in AI-supported decisions) matter as much as opportunity.

We welcome empirical, conceptual, and methodological work on adoption pressures, promises and risks, how digital intelligence reshapes entrepreneurial practice and small-firm performance, and relevant topics.
