Present Your Research at an International Scholarly Conference
The European Hebrew Journal invites scholars, researchers, university professors, postdoctoral researchers, doctoral candidates, graduate students, independent scholars, and other qualified researchers from around the world to submit proposals for presentations at the European Hebrew Journal International Scholarly Online Zoom Conference, taking place on 6–8 November 2026.
This three-day international academic conference brings together scholars working across biblical studies, Hebrew language and linguistics, Jewish studies, theology, religious studies, history, archaeology, textual studies, and related disciplines.
The conference is organized in support of the Diamond Open Access mission of the European Hebrew Journal, promoting international scholarly exchange and wider accessibility and visibility of academic research.

Research introducing new discoveries, new evidence, new methodologies, reassessments of established interpretations, or genuinely new directions of research is especially welcome.
Presentation Format
Each accepted presenter will receive an official 30-minute conference presentation slot:
20 minutes — Research Presentation
10 minutes — Questions and Scholarly Discussion
Presentations will be delivered live online via Zoom.
The online format enables scholars from different countries and academic traditions to participate without the financial and logistical costs of international travel, accommodation, or visas.

Proposals submitted before the deadline will be evaluated for inclusion in the developing international conference programme.
Applicants are encouraged to submit as early as possible while programme slots remain available.
Academic Selection
Presentation proposals will be considered on the basis of:
scholarly quality
originality
methodological clarity
relevance to the conference
significance of the research question
potential contribution to international scholarly discussion
Acceptance is based on academic evaluation and is completely separate from conference payment.
Presenter Registration
There is no submission fee. Registration is required only after a proposal has been accepted.
Submitting an abstract and presentation proposal is completely free of charge.
There is no application fee and no abstract submission fee.
Only applicants whose presentation proposals have been academically accepted will be invited to complete presenter registration.

Twelve Months of Conference Access
Presenters do not need to attend every lecture live.
Every registered presenter will receive twelve months of on-demand access to the complete conference recording library, making it possible to follow presentations and scholarly discussions from different time zones and return to important lectures after the conference.
One presenter registration provides access to the complete three-day academic programme and twelve months of conference recordings.
Scholarly Visibility
The conference is designed not only as a live international scholarly meeting but also as a platform for the continuing visibility and dissemination of academic research.
Conference proceedings and published presentation materials will receive persistent Crossref-registered DOIs.
Eligible scholarly outputs will be structured for scholarly discovery through services such as Google Scholar and OpenAlex.
Conference-derived research articles subsequently published in the European Hebrew Journal may additionally benefit from the journal's scholarly dissemination and indexing infrastructure.

The conference supports the Diamond Open Access mission of the European Hebrew Journal.
Diamond Open Access scholarship aims to make academic research available without subscription charges for readers and without publication charges for authors.

This conference provides an opportunity to present that research to an international audience and discuss it with researchers working across related disciplines.
